Dear Friend,

Throughout my life, and as a strong community supporter and volunteer, I have learned a lot about leadership. I believe good leaders go where the problems are to make a difference, and that is exactly what I intend to do if elected.

Politics are polarizing, Salem and Washington D.C. are broken and we are not being heard. With the recent effort by the Senate Democrats to discard small business tax reforms and low and middle-income tax breaks that help working families, I felt compelled to get into this race. My campaign will focus on fixing the problems facing our community.

As a father and a grandfather, I understand the struggles faced by families every day. As the chairman of Centro Cultural de Washington County, I understand the needs of Latinos and many of the underprivileged in our community. As a senior supply chain analyst, I understand the critical business needs facing Washington County. Using my experience and knowledge — coupled with a strong work ethic — I will do my best to serve our community in the Oregon Legislature.

Sincerely,
